Tall Texan Library

Join us in congratulating Kate DiPronio for her recent invitation to be a mentor at the next Tall Texas Leadership Development Institute!

When Kate attended this Institute in 2006, she became a Tall Texan. Since that time, she has held several key leadership positions in the Texas Library Association, such as Chair of the Young Adult Round Table. She is currently TLA Chair-elect for the Tall Texan Round Table. In RRISD, Kate is a leader on her campus and at the district level.

This is now her time to influence numerous other librarians across the State by drawing on her varied experiences as a school and public librarian.

Congratulations

The 7th grade A team and 8th grade B team won district championships this season! This is the tenth championship in the last eleven years for the 8th grade Jaguar B teams. The four Jaguar football teams lost only a combined 3 games all year. Kids that played on the 8th grade B team never lost a game while playing here at Cedar Valley. They were undefeated last year as 7th graders and again this year in 8th grade. Thank you to all of our hard working parents, our cheerleaders, our band, our SRO Officer Lewis, and Mr. And Mrs. Andrade for all their support! Congratulations Jaguars! On to basketball....
